Final preparations are in full swing for Team BOC?s test day next week at Winton. The mid season break from racing has been spent stripping the Team BOC Commodore and then rebuilding the car for the busy second half of the 2010 V8 supercar season.
Next week?s test will be spread over two day, with Monday a Rookie Day and Tuesday a full test day involving all drivers and co drivers.Team BOC Enduro co driver Andrew Jones will be on hand to run some extra kilometres in the No 8 Commodore, but most of the focus will be enduro procedures including the important and little practiced driver change routine. The test day also gives the additional pit crew required for the endurance round some hands on practical experince for the job ahead.
The Team BOC was an unlucky non finisher at the L&H 500 last year after McConvilles dramatic turn one exit. Jason Richards scored a podium position at the Bathurst 1000 a month later, emphasising the competiveness of the Team BOC Commodore.
The team?s test day will also feature the shake down and then full test day for teammate, Jason Bright?s brand new Trading Post Racing Commodore.
