TEAM BOC was back in full swing this week in preparation for the all important opening endurance round at Phillip Island next week. JR had arrived back in Australia following his overseas trip, fully refreshed and ready to attack the second half of the season.
The Team BOC crew had been busy in his absence working on the No 8 Commodore. The Team BOC Commodore had the new VE2 front end and boot fitted and will now run as the latest model. The new Team BOC Commodore is featured on this week?s Auto Action Magazine.
The team tested the car at Winton raceway on Tuesday. Enduro co driver Andrew Jones also completed laps during the day.
Back at the workshop the following day, JR and Jonesy worked on the driver change routines before they headed into the post test debrief meeting.
JR was then back on the road to Melbourne for an appearance at team sponsor Ryan Woodwork?s VIP trade night.
