Team BOC was full of confidence heading to the Clipsal 500 after a successful two-day test at Winton last week. That speed, however, did not translate onto Adelaide's streets today.
Both Jason Bright and Jason Bargwanna were off the pace during today's practice so the team will now revert to the Abu Dhabi set-up that saw Bright battling James Courtney for the race win last month.
Qualifying starts tomorrow (Saturday) at 10.10am.
Team BOC #08
"We've got to go back through everything tonight and see where it's gone wrong because the car's just not flowing at all. We're struggling over the bumps.
"I'm sure tomorrow won't be as bad as it looks now."
Team BOC #14
"I'm not too disappointed. Looking at the times, we were five-hundredths off being in the top ten. We've made good progress but certainly got more work to do to get the car right.
"We're very fast in the first two sectors but we're losing six-tenths in the last. If we can get that right we'll be up around pole."
"After a test like the one we had last week, you just expect it to be fast out of the box but it's hard work; they'll get it right though. "
