SLEUTH STATS

- Jason had pole position for the inaugural round here in 1998 (SBR) and won the round here in 1999, the first championship round win for the Ford Falcon AU.

- Hidden Valley is the site of our team-mate, the late Jason Richards’ first and only pole position in 2009 for BJR.

- There has never been more than two safety car periods in a single Hidden Valley race.

- Jason won the reverse grid race here in 2006 for FPR in the #6 CAT Falcon, this was the only reverse grid race ever here at Darwin. Jason was the round runner up for HRT here in 2001 and 2002, and 3rd in 2003 with Team Brock.

- The record for most number of race wins in Darwin is 8, achieved by Mark Skaife. Skaife scored his first Hidden Valley race win for the Holden Racing Team in 2000 and his last there was in 2007, also for HRT.

- The lowest starting grid position for a race winner at Hidden Valley is 13. Russell Ingall started 13th to win Race 2 in 1998 for the Castrol Perkins Racing team.
